Wealth Planning

We work with our clients and their families to ensure that an effective wealth transfer plan is in place. After analysing our clients’ asset and liability mix, our highly experienced Wealth Planners will put forward recommendations for our clients’ asset holding and estate transfer mechanism.

In so doing we focus on 3 key pillars:

Intestacy and Wills

Many clients either do not have wills in place or if in place the wills are not properly structured to consider assets in multiple jurisdictions and to effectively transfer those assets to their beneficiaries. Our Wealth Planners will work with our clients and their legal advisors to prepare wills that are appropriate for the clients and the assets that they own.

Trusts

Whilst wills are an essential tool, the probate process is public, expensive and time consuming, and with substantial estates lacks the flexibility and sophistication that most wealthy families need. Our Wealth Planners work with our clients to develop trust solutions for both simple estate transfers to more complex cross-border planning with beneficiaries in multiple jurisdictions. We work with both in-house and external trustees to ensure that the clients’ objectives are met.

Liquidity Planning

Our Wealth Planner’s work with carefully selected life insurance brokers who are able to provide our clients with bespoke insurance solutions tailored to high net worth individuals. The mitigation of liabilities such as loan repayment, estate equalisation and business continuity can be met with the use of life insurance, and the referral of clients to specialised brokers ensures the correct solutions are implemented.

Our Wealth Planners are there to ensure that our innovative investment products and solutions are complemented by the important holistic solutions necessary to meet our clients and their family’s needs.
